A Little Craft

activityvillagekokeshiHere’s a simple Kokeshi pattern that’s easy to complete.

Carolyn and I are both full of ideas and not afraid to chase them — so a “little” craft project can easily become a tornado.  Last night I suggested we decorate a couple of postcards – but then Carolyn wanted the glitter. 45 minutes later I strolled into the living room and said jokingly, “Sweetie, you should know better than to let me open a tube of glitter….”

Unbeknownst to me, I had turquoise glitter all over my cheek at the time. Unbeknownst to Tom, there was already turquoise glitter all over the new playroom table he had just set up. I love a clean table – it’s such a tremendous opportunity to start something fun.

I think this Kokeshi Doll would look quite fetching with a little extra glitter added, don’t you?

The song of "My Little Ponies" I am going to sing for you. "My Little Ponies, My Little Ponies, It's time for another end." That's all I could think of right now. I think there's more to it. I did this in a sticker page on the computer. My Little Ponies stickers are buried somewhere in Hasbro's Playskool Site.

This box is not just any old box. I was so proud of myself when I got to take a picture of this box. I just carefully lined it - and then, carefully, by going the things to make a picture - I did it! I was so proud of myself.
